The store is located under the post office on Pingxi Historical Old Street. It is one of the feature shops with around 4 years of history. More than a dozen years ago, the owner drove his modified pickup truck and stopped at Jingtong, Pingxi, Shifen and 106 Prefectual Highway to sell seasoned millet mush, he was also the first in Pingxi to sell such snack. As street hawking is illegal in Taiwan, after several incidences with the police, he ended the business and only until 4 years ago did he find a suitable shopfront on Pingxi Historical Old Street and then he settled down. On top of the seasoned millet mush, the eatery also offers almond tea, Taiwanese chicken capelli, Peanut milk and other Taiwanese traditional snacks. Come and try it. We won't let you down. Something even better would be the iced seasoned millet mush developed by the owner, so it is a must try!
