Shunfa store (a butcher shop) is located on the Pingxi Historical Old Street before the Pingxi Bridge. It is about 2 minutes away from the Pingxi train station. This butcher shop specializes in Black Pork (Berkshire Pork) with long and trustworthy history of more than 80 years. Recently, the shop introduces new handmade sausages in original or garlic flavors and salted pork (bacon) that can be stir-fried, baked, grilled or roasted. It is good for gifts or for one's own use. You can consider taking some home as souvenirs. Due to the number of visitors over the weekend, the pork would be sold out in the morning, so the shop would sell naturally made osmanthus plum tea from lunchtime. The tea is refreshing and suitable all season round as it can function to reduce oil intake and assist digestion. You cannot taste this type of tea elsewhere. The shop also offers special flavored grass jelly shaved ice and tea flavored boiled eggs. Don't forget to drop by when you visit Pingxi. Sausages are sold at NT$180 per catty. Salted Pork are sold at NT$200 per catty. Osmanthus plum tea are sold at NT$25 per cup or NT$120 per bottle.
