In the late 90s, there were only 5 shopfronts left on the Jingtong Historical Old Street. Countryside Eatery is the first to returned home and it is the oldest beef noodle shop on Jingtong Historical Old Street. Jingtong Historical Old Street carries a 70's style, so a lot of movie companies would shoot some scenery here, such as Snowfall in Taipei and Meteor Garden. Did you realize that we were the shop where Tsukushi (Shancai) did her part-time job in the Meteor Garden? Therefore, we are often visited by the F4 fans from Hong Kong.
